Steve Coster became interested in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture through his passion for Wing Chun kung fu and Qi Gong.

This passion led Steve to learn more about the other familiar healing arts such as Acupuncture. As a result, Steve discovered he wanted to develop a meaningful career helping others by developing  expertise in healing arts.  Almost instantly, Steve left a career in insurance at the City of London to retrain as an Acupuncturist at The London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  Steve was delighted to graduate with an honours degree in Acupuncture and a license to practice Tui Na massage.

As a result of his training and through building his practice, Steve has gained many years of experience helping people with a wide range of conditions and ailments. These include pain relief, migraines, digestive problems and anxiety.  His areas of special interest include Cancer Rehabilitation and Fertility, for which Steve has received extensive additional training.  In respect of cancer care and rehabilitation, Steve volunteers as an Acupuncturist at the Macmillan cancer support centre at Southend NHS Hospital.  For fertility treatment, Steve offers sessions that support men and women wanting to conceive naturally or through IVF.

As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the registered body for professional acupuncturists in the UK, Steve is fully insured and abides by their strict codes of professional conduct and health and safety.
